Meet the Assembly

Alley & Rae

Alley & Rae strives to empower women to express their feelings, beliefs and voices with their line of bold and cheeky screen-printed tops. When you purchase Alley & Rae’s apparel, you’re supporting their mission to help end hunger in the U.S. — they donate a portion of every sale to put warm food in the bellies of hungry families. Alley & Rae is also 100% committed to fair labor practices and sustainability, from start to finish — they only use sweatshop-free manufacturers, eco-friendly ink and a direct-to-garment printing process.

Meggemsilver

Meghna started Meggemsilver to celebrate the stories and experiences that make each of us unique. She honors this mission by preserving the natural shapes of the semi-precious stones in her jewelry. When you purchase Meggemsilver’s artisan-made creations, you’re also supporting organizations that are fighting to end poverty in the U.S.

Common Assembly

Common Assembly was founded by Karina Shivdasani to make kindness more common in all areas of life. We honor that mission by sourcing our apparel from ethical manufacturers and high-quality materials that can be worn year after year to reduce our impact on the environment. In our collections, you’ll see real women wearing our clothes — no touch-ups or Photoshop, because we believe that the real you is where the impact starts.

TarnEllisArt

Tarn Ellis started painting to quiet her mind and focus her attention on the life in front of her. In her work, she honors the beauty of nature, women and self-love by infusing each portrait with traditional imagery from cultures around the world. The goal of her art? To help you find your calm center, even if it’s only for a moment.

Tara Handicraft

Carly and Vinay Singh were inspired to start Tara Handicraft after seeing the beautiful and high-quality wares of local artisans in India. Now, they run a full-fledged import business that brings generations of craftsmanship from small-scale makers in India to homes around the world. When you purchase goods from Tara Handicraft, you’re giving back to the communities where they were made — Tara Handicraft donates a portion of all proceeds to charitable projects in Varanasi, India, including a children’s orphanage and Project Shakti, which teaches vocational skills and offers training loans to young women.

ZENJENN

As a founder, mother and CEO, Jenn Hill launched ZENJENN to offer women a line of conscious beauty products that treat their skin and Mother Nature with respect. With 100% organic, sustainable, vegan and non-toxic ingredients, ZENJENN gives everybody the chance to experience a moment of presentness in their day.

Farrah B Jewelry

In 2009, Farrah Brothers left her corporate job behind to return to her childhood love of turning antique and vintage finds into jewelry. Her collection of handmade necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more reflect her passion for local economies and ethical production standards. She keeps all manufacturing in the U.S. and, whenever possible, in her hometown of Austin, Texas.

Zenergize Your Space

Sonal Gohel started her candle company, Zenergize Your Space, to give women a chance to disconnect from the stress of the world and show a bit of kindness to their bodies, spirits and minds. Her aromatic, clean candles are hand-blended and hand-poured with love every weekend in Queens, New York, using a sustainable paraffin-free coconut wax blend and phthalate-free scents that will fill your space, clear your head and leave you feeling rejuvenated.

The Lavish Goat

It took years for Candace Wheat to perfect her goat’s milk soap boars, bath bombs, facial serums and shower steamers to help women feel amazing in their skin. Though she’s grown the Lavish Goat from a farmers market stall to a thriving online brand, she still infuses her products with the same love, care and commitment to using high-quality, non-toxic ingredients straight from nature so that you can experience radiant well-being.

Picki Nicki

In 2012, Nicki launched Picki Nicki, her sage and palo santo kits, to help fellow women and moms hold their own personal ceremony for greater zen. From her home in San Diego, she sources local, sustainably harvested plants from a small farm and oversees the process of hand-picking, -drying and -tying her sage bundles and palo santo sticks.
